It moves and sticks out its tongue for reasons known only to its creator.Meiwa Electronics has developed the perfect showcase for inventors who are not ashamed of their useless inventions, and on top of that are also eager to share them with the world: the annual competition known as the Stupid Robot Contest.Officials will permit only those entries that meet the criteria that the robots must be mechanical, completely useless, and must make those who view them laugh until they are ready to cry.
One of the showcased robots is Papa Robopucho, pictured above, who plays a kind of secret flag game with himself, the point of which he doesn’t even seem to know.The concept appears to be catching on, for better or for worse.
