A restaurant chain is offering women hoping to make a leap-year proposal the chance to say it with steak.Beefeater Grill is offering a 7oz Rump Steak branded with the words 'Will you marry me?" to be served on Wednesday, 29 February.Traditionally, women can turn the tables by proposing to men, with some claiming it's because the date has no status in English law.
Amanda Barnett, a spokesperson for Beefeater Grill, said the restaurant believed the way to a man's heart was through his stomach.She added: "As all women know only too well, if we wait for the man of our dreams to make a move we could well be waiting for a long time!"
