
A BBC weatherman has told of his shame after accidentally saying the c-word live on air.Alex Deakin, 37, was predicting "bucket loads of sunshine" but instead said "bucket loads of c***" before correcting himself.Clips of his slip-up on BBC World were quickly posted on YouTube.
Asked by a follower what he had said, he admitted: "Not A naughty word, THE naughty word."James Naughtie and Andrew Marr both made a similar slip when introducing Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt on Radio 4 in 2010.
